Editorial and Review Policy

Standards for calculator usefulness, originality, authorship, formula review, advertising independence, and corrections.

Useful before monetized

Every indexed calculator must work and provide original explanatory value before advertising is enabled. Pages are not created only to target keyword variations.

Required elements for calculator pages

  • A functioning calculator above the main article.
  • A plain-language purpose and worked example.
  • The formula or calculation basis.
  • Interpretation, limitations, and common mistakes.
  • Relevant references and an update record.
  • A visible correction channel.

Authorship and review

Pages identify the responsible technical reviewer and the limits of that reviewer’s professional role. Country-specific legal, tax, or regulated content must be checked against official sources.

Advertising independence

Advertisements and commercial relationships do not alter formulas or results. Sponsored material must be labeled and separated from calculator controls and download buttons.

Corrections

Confirmed errors are prioritized, tested, corrected, and recorded in the project changelog. Material formula changes require a version update.
